Description
A sparkling red cloak of fine, thick silk, that almost seems to have tiny, diamond-shaped rubies sown into it. They are, in fact, an optical illusion; a byproduct of the unbelievable craftsmanship. The cloak itself weighs only four pounds, and flows so freely that it does not hinder movement in any way.
Magical Properties
- Grants a +6 bonus to Cha-based social skill checks by magnifying the wearer's attractiveness and charm.
- Ruby Light: Daily, immediate, 2 rounds; gain Resist 50% (all).
History
The cloak was fashioned by an unknown tailor on commission from the High Blade of Mulmaster, as a wedding gift to Tharchioness Dmitra Flass. It was stolen before it could be presented to her.
From there, it eventually found its way into the hoard of a Brown Dragon living in the Calim Desert. It was liberated from the hoard by Dorian Adricus and others, and sold to Suryn in 1377 DR.
In 1385, the item was "acquired" by Faen Firewind and gifted to Scarlet Blaze.
